About us:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator (ERP) to manage and support our ERP infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the ERP system runs smoothly, efficiently, and securely, supporting business operations across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain ERP servers, databases, and applications.
2. Manage user access, roles, and security within the ERP system.
3. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to ERP.
4. Coordinate with vendors and consultants for ERP upgrades, patches, and customizations.
5. Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place and functioning.
6. Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other teams to ensure ERP meets business needs.
7. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
8. Provide technical support and training to ERP users.
9. Apply system updates and ensure ERP compliance with organizational policies and standards.
10. Assist in report generation and data analysis as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in an ERP environment.
3. Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Frappe/ERPNext).
4. Strong understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
5. Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and system monitoring tools.
6. Experience with server virtualization and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
2. Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
3. Understanding of business processes like finance, inventory, HR, and procurement.
